  • Now all the pipes are tight and the main hoses are on. Notice the temperature gauge mounted to the left side of the cabinet and the electrical connections on the water heater and the pump.

  • A view of the lower plumbing. I made a couple more modifications before tightening. I moved the temperature gauge "T" to be right at the water heater drain nipple. This way the temperature gauge will always work, whether the oil is circulating or not. I also put an elbow on the methanol hose barb, I thought this might help the methanol drain easier and more completely.

  • Here is a view of what is behind the heating element access panel. I need to go pick up a 110 volt element to replace the 220 volt element that came with the water heater.
